With a growing demand on our justice system and a desire to improve operations, increase sustainability and create an environment that encourages behavioural change, the justice sector requires a new form of architecture to meet society’s changing needs.
With longstanding careers in justice that predates the formation of Guymer Bailey, with our founders Tim Guymer and Ralph Bailey working on the design of The Brisbane Children’s Court in 1985, we have been responsible for some of Australia’s most notable justice structures and innovations.
In recent years, this includes large-scale court projects like the $600m Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law (Brisbane Supreme and District Court), $77m Shepperton Courts of Law, and the $208m Tauranga Moana Innovative Courthouse in New Zealand.
