Why We Are Now Working a 9-Day Fortnight
Did you know the average professional spends 90,000 hours of their life at work? It’s why creating meaningful work and prioritising team wellbeing are both high priorities for us here at Guymer Bailey.
It’s also what has led us to implement the new work trend of a 9-day fortnight across both our Brisbane and Melbourne Studios.
THE 9-DAY FORTNIGHT CREATES A WIN / WIN FOR OUR CLIENTS AND TEAM
This new work arrangement allows our team to work their usual hours but extend their weekends every fortnight, giving them more time for rest, family, creativity, and general life management. This in turn helps to relieve stress and improve their mental wellbeing.
For our clients, it means we still work the same hours with no impact on deliverables. As research suggests, this new work model creates greater productivity and higher quality of output, both of which align with our commitment to provide the best design outcomes for our clients.
NEW STUDIO OPENING HOURS
As of Monday the 26th of June, we will be condensing our usual working hours into a 9-day fortnight, as such our studios will be closed every second Friday starting the 30th of June. To help you identify when our studio will be closed, we have included a calendar below for you.
During opening hours, you can contact our Brisbane Studio on 07 3870 9700 and our Melbourne studio on 03 8547 5000 between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
