The GB-Art Show: The Art of Giving Back
Since 2012, the GB-Art Show has brought together local artists, clients, friends, family and the broader community for an evening that celebrates creativity while supporting an important cause.
Each year, our Brisbane studio transforms into a pop-up art gallery, showcasing artwork from emerging and established artists alongside the creative talents of the GB-A team. Held annually in support of Loud Shirt Day and raise funds for Hear and Say, the event reflects the purpose and values that underpins our practice - care, collaborate and create.

The history of the GB-Art Show
A Brisbane tradition since 2012
What began as a small fundraising initiative has grown into one of our most anticipated annual community events.
For more than a decade, the GB-Art Show has welcomed hundreds of guests into our Brisbane studio and provided a platform for artists to showcase their work in a unique and welcoming environment. Over the years, the exhibition has featured paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture, textiles and mixed media works from artists across Queensland and beyond.
The event has also become a celebration of the creative pursuits that extend beyond
architecture, landscape architecture
and interiors, giving the GB-A team and local artists the opportunity to share their artistic talents with colleagues, clients and the broader community.
Today, the Art Show continues to evolve while remaining true to its purpose of bringing people together through creativity and supporting Hear and Say's mission to help people with hearing loss achieve their full communication potential.

Why we support Hear and Say
Creativity creating impact
The GB-Art Show proudly supports Hear and Say through its annual Loud Shirt Day fundraising campaign. Hear and Say provides specialised audiology and speech pathology services for people with hearing loss, supporting individuals from newborns through to adulthood. Their work extends beyond metropolitan centres, delivering services to regional and remote communities across Queensland and helping ensure more families can access expert support regardless of where they live.
Hear and Say also partners with organisations including NACCHO, CheckUP and Children’s Health Queensland to support First Nations children and families through hearing screening, audiology and speech pathology services. In 2026 alone, the organisation completed more than 560 hearing screening tests for First Nations children, helping identify and address hearing challenges early and improve educational outcomes.

Growing in impact year after year

2026 – Trace
A celebration of beginnings, creative sparks and evolving ideas. Inspired by the traces we leave behind during the creative process, TRACE explored the sketches, observations and moments of curiosity that eventually become something meaningful.
2025 – Drawn to Nature
Celebrating the connection between creativity and the natural world, Drawn to Nature invited artists to explore the landscapes, patterns, textures and ecosystems that influence how we observe and create. The event welcomed more than 150 attendees and raised over $3,600 for Hear and Say.
2024 – Back to Basics
Back to Basics invited artists to reflect on the fundamental elements that inspire creative expression. The exhibition featured a diverse collection of works from local artists, members of the GB-A Brisbane and Melbourne studios, and their families, helping raise an impressive $4,732.41 for Hear and Say.
