Naomi Denes
Architect
I love how architecture inspires, adds value, and engages its users. It enhances people’s lives and has a meaningful impact on society; shaping the way people live, work, and interact with their surroundings. I enjoy the opportunity to express imagination and problem solve to find innovative solutions that meet the functional, aesthetic, and technical requirements of a project in collaboration with consultants and advisors, exchanging ideas, and collectively bringing projects to life.
Naomi Denes is an architect with nearly 10 years of experience delivering complex projects across the corrections, health, education, defence, aged care, and multi-residential sectors. Her experience spans project documentation, coordination, design development, and project management, enabling her to contribute effectively across all stages of project delivery.

Naomi has developed a particular interest in education and correctional environments, exploring how thoughtful design can support learning, wellbeing, and positive long-term outcomes. She is passionate about creating environments that balance operational requirements with human-centred design principles, and is especially interested in the role of biophilic and rehabilitative design in enhancing the experience of students, staff, visitors, and people in custody.
