Patrick Giles
Studio Education Lead
Patrick is our Studio Education Lead and a highly experienced senior architect. Patrick has over 12 years’ experience in design, with key specialty designing learning environments for young children with special needs and developmental challenges.
During his time with GB-A he has led several award-winning education projects including Niddrie Autistic School, among others. In addition to education, Patrick has a wider project portfolio leading large-scale projects across the justice, health, and public spaces sectors.
He is passionate about progressing architectural fields through therapeutic biophilia, supports GB-A as a leadership mentor and contributes externally as a member of Learning Environments Australasia (LEA), serving as a Mayfield researcher in 2023 and as juror for key international architectural awards.

Known for his clear, proactive communication and sense of humour, Patrick brings an extremely high standard of work, ensuring creative design outcomes and a memorable project experience.
Outside practice, Patrick specialises in Architectural illustration, sketching and graphical design.
