Design Principles for Prison Landscapes: Security, Biodiversity and Wellbeing
Dominque Moran, Emma Widdop and Jonathan Sadler have co-authored a fantastic publication called "Design Principles for Prison Landscapes: Security, Biodiversity and Wellbeing". Published by the University of Birmingham, it aims to address the question, “What should green spaces in prisons be like?”.
Director, Kavan Applegate was honoured to be on the International Expert Advisory Board for the project and to take Dominque and Emma on a 3-day tour around some of the best Victorian prison landscape architecture projects. Several of our correctional projects were featured in the publication which you can download for free at www.greenprison.co.uk.
Contemporary Landscape Architecture: Masterpieces Around the World
GB-Landscape were honoured to be featured in the 2025 edition of Contemporary Landscape Architecture: Masterpieces Around the World for the Frew Park Arena Play Structure.
The prestigious book showcases an international collection of contemporary landscape designs, highlighting the intersection of global trends, local traditions, and innovative technologies. The Frew Park Arena Play Structure exemplifies our commitment to creating spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
Sunshine Coast Design Book
GB-A were proud to be significant contributors to the Sunshine Coast Design Strategy, with several of our projects featured in the Sunshine Coast Design Book.
