Uni Heights Student Accommodation
The Uni Heights Student Accommodation is a six-level student housing complex with a basement and rooftop connection. The project features 192-beds with a range of amenities including car and bicycle storage, gym, pool, study areas, shared kitchenettes, and laundry facilities, all designed to support a vibrant student community.
Sustainability and environmental considerations are central to the design, with features like passive solar design, natural ventilation, and sun screening to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. The design also integrates green spaces, including landscaped communal areas and planters, to promote a connection with the natural environment. The building’s façade incorporates symbolic elements inspired by the native scribbly gum tree, reflecting both local context and the journey of student life.
The project achieved development approval during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently the property was sold by the developer and did not continue through to construction.
